POWERHOUSE SOARS HIGH IN 2009

Impressive, is when something ordinary is done extraordinarily, so to speak. Amazing, is when something is done and it exceeds every other expectations. Spectacular, is when something occurs and defies all limits, even the overwhelming odds. And when these three words are strung together to make one comprehensive sentence, the name Powerhouse is surely to be close by.

2009 was truly a fruitful year for Powerhouse Training and Review Center. During the June Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE), the company soared high with an imposing 95.90 per cent passing rate meanwhile, as for the Licensure Examination for Teachers, the company was able to produce a 10th placer.

However, the trail of victory does not end there. Just recently, together with notable figures such as the one and only “Mr. Showman” Mr. German Moreno, “the new Queen of Las Vegas” Ms. Imelda Papin and many other well known individuals and institutions, Powerhouse was given recognition and two highly prestigious awards during the 28th Annual Consumers Quality Awards 2009 DANGAL ng BAYAN, the country’s pioneer and biggest consumer’s tribute since 1980. This was held last November 30, 2009 at the Mandarin Suites in Gateway, Cubao, Quezon City.

During the said activity, Powerhouse Training and Review Center was awarded as the 2009 Most Innovative and Service Oriented Training and Review Center. Meanwhile, Ms. Arlene Painagan Palgan, USRN, MA, MAN, the president and the owner of Powerhouse, was also awarded as the Model Achiever Awardee for Nursing Education and Civic.

Still, last December 1, 2009, Powerhouse Training and Review Center was the recipient of another award, this time, coming from the British Council for being the No. 15 Authorized Registration Agent endorsing IELTS Candidates nationwide to the British Council. This was held at the Makati Peninsula Hotel and was attended by fellow awardees and several other authorized agents of the British Council.

Truly, Powerhouse has a lot to look back and be proud of for the year 2009. However, in spite of these new set of well-deserved awards and recognitions, the company has remained humble, focused and more determined than ever in providing its beloved clients maximum satisfaction and excellence of execution. Nowhere else can you find this kind of high calibre services where optimum dedication is second to none.
